Deck overview

Minn, Wily Illusionist helms a card-draw tempo deck that converts every draw into Illusion tokens and uses those tokens' deaths as a cheat-into-play engine for large blue permanents. The primary plan is to chain cheap draw spells and draw doublers to populate the board, then cash in Illusions for bombs like Hullbreaker Horror, Jin-Gitaxias, or Consecrated Sphinx. Secondary paths include a Hullbreaker Horror + Sol Ring infinite loop with any nonland permanent bounce, and commander-damage pressure from pump effects. Jace, Wielder of Mysteries offers an alternating self-mill win condition. The deck is a wizard-matters tempo-control list that aims to out-value opponents through card advantage and interactive instant-speed play while building an illusion army.
