Deck overview

This is a Gruul +1/+1 counters and activated-ability combo deck, helmed by Agatha of the Vile Cauldron. Agatha's cost-reduction ability is the engine: by making her power large, the deck can activate expensive creature abilities for nearly free, enabling infinite-mana loops and pinpoint finishers. The primary win condition is assembling infinite mana (via Umbral Mantle on a mana dork with a +1/+1 counter and Agatha's reduction) and then dumping that mana into Walking Ballista or the deck's suite of Invokers (Bhaal's Invoker, Flamewave Invoker, Valakut Invoker). A secondary combat plan uses Etali, Primal Conqueror and giant creatures backed by counter doublers. The deck is fast, redundant, and heavily dependent on Agatha being on the battlefield.
