Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Superfriends midrange engine commanded by Kethis, the Hidden Hand. The primary strategy focuses on deploying efficient early ramp, casting cost-reduced planeswalkers, and establishing a protective token wall. Legendary creatures like Carth the Lion and Captain Sisay accelerate loyalty accumulation and provide reliable card selection. The deck controls the tempo of the game using dense asymmetric board wipes such as Urza's Ruinous Blast, The Eternal Wanderer, and Merciless Eviction that devastate opposing battlefields while leaving the legendary planeswalker engine intact. Once the board is secured, doubling effects like Doubling Season and loyalty ultimates from Nissa, Ascended Animist and Liliana, Dreadhorde General overwhelm the table with massive token armies. If opponents disrupt the board, Kethis, the Hidden Hand easily rebuilds by casting legendary spells straight from the graveyard.
