Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf-ball deck helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves, built around a simple but powerful two-step plan: turn Elves into an overwhelming token army, then convert that board into life loss. Lathril is both the primary token engine and an alternate finisher-she attacks through menace, creates a 1/1 Elf Warrior for each damage dealt, and can eventually be tapped with ten untapped Elves to drain each opponent for 10. The 99 is dense with mana dorks such as Llanowar Elves, Priest of Titania, and Elvish Archdruid, combined with lords and token generators like Imperious Perfect, Elvish Warmaster, and Lys Alana Huntmaster. The deck does not rely on infinite combos; instead it closes games with mass pump, infect, drain, or repeated Lathril activations.
