Deck overview

This Grixis deck operates as a high-synergy wheel and burn strategy helmed by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The core game plan focuses on deploying early damage converters that punish opponents for drawing and discarding cards, such as Liliana's Caress, Underworld Dreams, Megrim, Razorkin Needlehead, and Fate Unraveler. Once a punishment piece is established, the deck chains symmetrical hand-refill effects like Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Whispering Madness to simultaneously drain life totals and wipe out opponent hands. Waste Not and Storm-Kiln Artist provide explosive bursts of mana to string multiple wheels together in a single turn, while Underworld Breach acts as a recursive finisher. With robust low-cost countermagic, targeted removal, and board wipes like Toxic Deluge and Blasphemous Act, the deck reliably protects its setup and closes games by Turn 5.
