Deck overview

This is a mono-black artifact-reanimator deck built around Imotekh the Stormlord's graveyard-exit trigger. The game plan is to fill the graveyard with artifact creatures via Flayed One, Szarekh, the Silent King, Incarnation Technique, and Unseal the Necropolis, then recur them en masse with Living Death, Rise of the Dark Realms, Whip of Erebos, and Anrakyr the Traveller. Every artifact card that leaves the graveyard creates two 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens, so each reanimation spell builds an incidental army. The deck wins through combat - Skorpekh Lord's anthem, Imotekh's +2/+2 menace pump, Crashing Drawbridge haste - and through drain reach from Shard of the Nightbringer, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and Psychomancer. A secondary infinite engine with Scrap Trawler, Myr Retriever, and Ashnod's Altar converts the graveyard into unbounded mana and tokens. This is a classic midrange value pile: grind, reanimate better than the table, and drown them in Necron chaff.
