Angels for Breakfast by smahon90

Format: Commander

Commander: Shilgengar, Sire of Famine

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shilgengar, Sire of Famine leads an Orzhov Angel reanimation deck that turns dead Angels into Blood tokens, then reanimates the whole graveyard as a horde of Vampire Angels. The primary plan is aristocrat-style sacrifice to fill the yard, followed by a mass Shilgengar activation and an anthem-powered combat kill. Secondary paths are lifegain-token generation with Resplendent Angel, Valkyrie Harbinger, and Righteous Valkyrie, plus attrition from Liesa and Rampage. The deck is resilient and grindy, has no fast infinite combo, and generally wins through overwhelming repeated attacks.
