Deck overview

Gluntch, the Bestower is a political +1/+1-counter engine, not a combo piece. The plan is to establish early ramp and counter-doubling, then let Gluntch's end-step gifts grow a flying threat each turn while pillowfort and goad effects keep opponents from attacking. The primary finish is an infect alpha strike with Triumph of the Hordes, often supported by Perch Protection Birds or a massive Kalonian Hydra/Court of Garenbrig counter burst; Walking Ballista is a flexible backup once counters are enormous. There is no hidden commander, but Ferrafor, Young Yew acts as a second engine that doubles counters and can generate a Saproling army.
