Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul stompy strategy centered on ramping into its 7-mana commander, Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers. Leveraging the commander's haste and trample, the deck immediately attacks on Turn 5 to reveal cards from the top of the library and put a massive creature onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The 99 is constructed with extreme creature redundancy, packing bombs like Galactus, Devourer of Worlds, It That Betrays, and Ghalta, Primal Hunger that overwhelm opposing defenses. While the deck boasts high mana consistency and explosive combat scaling through overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth, it lacks tutors, stack interaction, and proactive stax pieces. As a result, it is vulnerable to well-timed instant-speed spot removal and opposing board wipes during its operational window.
