Deck overview

This Selesnya deck is piloted by Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, focusing on turning incremental lifegain into overwhelming physical board presence. The early game focuses on deploying efficient lifegain enablers like Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, and Essence Warden, alongside basic ramp spells. Once Lathiel enters on turn 4, any lifegain trigger rapidly distributes +1/+1 counters across your secondary creatures at each end step. Mid-game turns compound this advantage as large lifelinkers attack, generating exponential lifegain that turns into massive stat growth through multipliers like Conclave Mentor and Nykthos Paragon. Win conditions center on trampling combat damage enabled by Garruk's Uprising or a massive token army from Storm Herd. While the deck features robust anti-wipe protection like Guardian of Faith and Selfless Spirit, its lack of universal tutors means it relies on steady natural draws and combat steps to eliminate the table by turn 8.
