amass goblins by user5924596

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

An amass build that turns every +1/+1 counter placed on a Goblin, Orc, or Army into 2 damage through The Great Goblin. The deck develops one large Army token, supports it with trample, menace, and equipment, then closes with either an enormous hasted/double-striking attack via Assault on Osgiliath or repeated combat steps while the commander pings. Death triggers fuel an impulse-draw subtheme, and sacrifice outlets smooth mana/draw. No infinite combo is present. The commander is the primary amplifier and card engine, but enough amass pieces exist that the deck can still play if he is absent. There is no double-faced or hidden commander; Great Goblin, Foul-Hearted is a strong amass piece in the 99, not the general.
