Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu Vampire tribal strategy commanded by Edgar Markov. Edgar Markov creates a 1/1 Vampire token from the command zone whenever you cast a Vampire spell, generating immediate board presence without requiring mana. The primary game plan swarms opponents with cheap Vampires, scales the board using anthem effects like Shared Animosity or Legion Lieutenant, and finishes with wide combat damage accelerated by Edgar Markov or Akromas Will. As an alternate path to victory, the deck features deterministic infinite life-drain combos by pairing Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond.
