Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered aggro-cheat strategy centered on Kaalia of the Vast. Its primary objective is accelerating Kaalia out by Turn 3 using efficient 2-CMC mana rocks, granting haste via Equipment like Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots, and attacking on Turn 4. Each attack triggers Kaalia's ability to put massive, game-warping Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking, bypassing hefty mana costs. High-priority payloads include Master of Cruelties for immediate single-target elimination, Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Serra's Emissary for board invulnerability, and Bloodthirster or Gisela, Blade of Goldnight to multiply combat pressure. The deck backs up this aggressive core with targeted black tutors, flexible Mardu removal, robust reanimation packages, and vital protection spells such as Deflecting Swat, Boros Charm, and Teferi's Protection. While highly explosive, the deck relies heavily on Kaalia surviving to combat and maintaining sufficient hand cards to feed her triggers.
