Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Elenda, the Dusk Rose and operates on an Aristocrats midrange strategy. The primary plan involves establishing cheap sacrifice outlets such as Viscera Seer and Carrion Feeder alongside death-trigger value engines, then deploying Elenda, the Dusk Rose to rapidly accumulate +1/+1 counters. When Elenda dies, she converts into a wide army of 1/1 lifelink Vampire tokens. Combined with drain engines like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Marionette Apprentice, and Mirkwood Bats, these tokens provide lethal life-drain bursts and formidable combat presence. To slow down faster combo decks, the list incorporates potent asymmetric speed bumps such as Rule of Law, Archon of Emeria, and Stony Silence. The deck excels at resource grinding, spot removal, and recovery through recursive engines like Sevinne's Reclamation and Luminous Broodmoth.
