Queza Optimised by PCThirtyFive

Format: Commander

Commander: Queza, Augur of Agonies

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Queza, Augur of Agonies leads an Esper draw-punisher deck that converts every card drawn into a targeted point of damage and every life gain into table-wide drain. The primary plan is assembling a redundant lifegain/lifeloss loop - Sanguine Bond or Vito with Bloodthirsty Conqueror or Exquisite Blood - then starting it with combat damage, an upkeep drain, or an opponent draw. The secondary plan is incremental attrition through Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, Seizan, and the commander. Tutors and Smothering Tithe smooth assembly. There is no hidden commander; Queza is a flexible enabler, accelerating the drain but not required for the main combo.
