Deck overview

This deck is an Esper enchantment control and Voltron list piloted by Zur the Enchanter. The game plan accelerates into a Turn 3 Zur using dense 2-CMC mana rocks, then declares an attack on Turn 4 to tutor critical enchantments directly onto the battlefield. Depending on table threats, Zur fetches proactive protection (Diplomatic Immunity, Greater Auramancy), asymmetric lock pieces (Solemnity paired with Delaying Shield or Phyrexian Unlife, Rest in Peace), or massive stat boosters (All That Glitters, Sage's Reverie). Once protected, Zur rapidly eliminates opponents one by one with unblockable commander damage by Turn 7. A robust suite of free and 1-mana counterspells, efficient exile removal, and defensive enchantments ensure the pilot maintains control of the board state while locking out opposing combat damage.
