Welcome to my Nightmare! by TheUrDragonMaster

Format: Commander

Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a four-color (WUBG) mutate-focused deck helmed by Atraxa, Praetors' Voice. The primary strategy is to create a large, evasive mutated creature using the deck's numerous mutate creatures (e.g., Otrimi, the Ever-Playful, Nethroi, Apex of Death) and augment it with goad auras (Predatory Impetus) for political pressure. Atraxa provides incremental value by proliferating +1/+1 counters on the mutated stack and other permanents. The deck includes a secondary "X-spell" theme with Zaxara, the Exemplary to create sizable Hydra tokens. It wins through combat damage with a tall threat, supported by control elements (board wipes, counterspells) and some graveyard recursion. No deterministic infinite combos are present.
