Commander: Volo, Guide to Monsters

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Volo, Guide to Monsters leads a Simic creature-value deck that wins by copying large creatures and overrunning opponents with tramplers, annihilator, or earthbent lands. The primary line ramps into Volo, then sequences nonlegendary creatures with distinct types so each spell is copied; copied landfall/entry creatures such as Lotus Cobra, Mossborn Hydra, and Froghemoth build both mana and board. Secondary paths are poison counters from copied Venerated Rotpriests and a token/attrition plan through Koma and Sandwurm Convergence. Volo is the engine rather than a combatant, so keeping him alive is central. There is no infinite combo; the deck grinds to a series of hard-hitting combat phases.
