Deck overview

This deck is a five-color midrange strategy built around the mutate mechanic and the unique myriad ability of Mass of Mysteries. By mutating onto non-Human Elemental creatures—such as Brokkos, Apex of Forever, Illuna, Apex of Wishes, Parcelbeast, or Dreamtail Heron—the deck builds layered, highly keyworded threats. When Mass of Mysteries grants myriad to an Elemental mutate stack, the token copies enter the battlefield as exact duplicates of the entire composite permanent, delivering massive combat damage and on-damage triggers to every opponent simultaneously. Supported by value engines like Auspicious Starrix, Beast Whisperer, and Nethroi, Apex of Death, the deck can flood the board with permanents and recover lost threats from the graveyard. While it lacks fast mana and dedicated tutors, its high redundancy of mutate creatures and resilient recursive threats allow it to maintain heavy pressure throughout the mid-game.
