Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white midrange strategy centered on lifegain synergies and Angel tribal beatdown. In the early game, cheap enablers such as Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, and Guide of Souls generate steady life triggers. These triggers fuel mid-game engines like Resplendent Angel, Angelic Accord, and Righteous Valkyrie, flooding the battlefield with 4/4 flying Angel tokens. The commander, Ob Nixilis, the Ascended, serves as an asymmetric sweeper that destroys tapped opposing creatures while gaining life and creating additional flyers on every end step. Board-wide buffs from Archangel of Thune and Righteous Valkyrie rapidly turn this aerial army into a lethal threat. While the deck boasts resilient combat presence and flexible creature removal through Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile, its card draw is lean, making it reliant on maintaining board presence. Protected by Dawn's Truce and Sephara, Sky's Blade, the deck overwhelms opponents through evasive combat damage.
