Deck overview

This deck is a classic Simic landfall strategy piloted by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The deck operates by spending the first three turns accelerating its mana base through redundant one-to-three mana ramp spells and creatures. On Turn 4, it deploys Aesi to establish an overwhelming card-draw engine that triggers on every land entry and permits additional land plays per turn. By Turn 5, the accumulated land advantage transitions into massive board pressure through heavy landfall payoffs such as Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, Rampaging Baloths, and Cultivator Colossus. The deck overwhelms opponents by producing dozens of high-power tokens and massive creatures, closing out the game with lethal combat damage over Turns 6 and 7. It supports its engine with flexible spot removal, light countermagic, and late-game disruption from Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger.
