Deck overview

This deck executes a Rakdos Goblin Aristocrats strategy led by The Balrog, Durin's Bane. It leverages low-cost Goblin token generators like Mogg War Marshal, Goblin Instigator, and Legion Warboss to build early board presence. These tokens fuel cheap sacrifice outlets such as Skirk Prospector and Goblin Bombardment, enabling The Balrog, Durin's Bane to enter for as little as {B}{R} with haste and pseudo-unblockable evasion. As the game develops, token multipliers like Krenko, Mob Boss and Pashalik Mons scale the board exponentially. Aristocrat payoffs including Blood Artist, Boggart Cursecrafter, and Mirkwood Bats convert creature deaths into steady life loss for opponents. Tutoring engines like Goblin Recruiter and Goblin Matron ensure consistent access to key Goblins, while multi-card synergies with Putrid Goblin offer combo potential. The deck combines aggressive combat pressure with resilient death triggers to eliminate the table by Turn 7.
