Deck overview

This Bant +1/+1 counter deck, helmed by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, is a combat-oriented value engine that grows its board exponentially through proliferate, counter-doubling, and counter-movement. The commander's ability to move counters and Cheer-trigger a draw-plus-proliferate on combat damage creates a snowballing advantage. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage from massively scaled creatures like Kalonian Hydra and Forgotten Ancient, with Walking Ballista serving as a potential flexible finisher. The deck leans heavily on a dense suite of counter-synergy permanents (Hardened Scales, Conclave Mentor, Master Biomancer) and proliferate effects (Evolution Sage, Inexorable Tide, Thrummingbird) to outpace opponents. It is a classic midrange strategy that aims to control the board through efficient removal and protection spells while building an unstoppable battlefield presence.
