Deck overview

This mono-black cEDH deck leverages Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER as both a card advantage engine and a commander-zone drain outlet. The primary strategy utilizes rapid acceleration through 0–1 CMC mana rocks and rituals to deploy Sephiroth and assemble compact creature sacrifice loops as early as Turn 3. The primary win condition pairs Warren Soultrader with Forsaken Miner, creating infinite mana and death triggers that allow Sephiroth to drain all three opponents to zero life in a single turn. Backup strategies include the two-card combo of Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Enduring Tenacity, Bolas's Citadel storm lines, and explosive card draw via Ad Nauseam or Peer into the Abyss. Stax and disruption pieces like Opposition Agent and Orcish Bowmasters slow down faster opponents while the deck prepares its combo turn.
