Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathril, Blade of the Elves helms a Golgari Elf-tribal deck built to flood the board with Elf tokens, convert that width into table-wide damage, and occasionally assemble an infinite-mana finish. The main plan is to cast Lathril early, trigger her combat damage to create tokens, then tap ten Elves with her activated ability to drain the whole table. Lord effects like Elvish Archdruid, Imperious Perfect, and Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen supercharge the swarm, while Shaman of the Pack and Skemfar Shadowsage provide additional life-loss bursts. The compact combo layer is Sword of the Paruns untapping a large mana Elf for infinite green, paid out through Exsanguinate or a giant Genesis Wave. It is a midrange tribal deck with a resilient token core and a real, if lightly tutored, combo backup.
