Lawa's Real Deck by tapforfoam

Format: Commander

Commander: Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait leads a Simic landfall value deck that wins with a wide board and a combat pump. Aesi gives you an extra land drop each turn and draws a card on every landfall, so ramp spells, fetch lands, and extra land effects become card advantage. The deck builds with redundant draw from Tatyova, Benthic Druid, Beast Whisperer, and Teferi's Ageless Insight and mana from Lotus Cobra and Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle. It then goes wide with Avenger of Zendikar Plants, Mole Man, Moloid Master Minions, Koma Coils, and Jyoti land creatures, and closes with Biomass Mutation or Jyoti's combat pump. There is no infinite combo; wins are fair combat over one to two attacks, protected by counterspells and spot removal.
