Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Stax Combo build engineered to seize control of competitive multiplayer pods through severe resource throttling before closing the game with a compact infinite combo. The primary game plan establishes early asymmetric denial using premier lock pieces such as Rule of Law, Drannith Magistrate, Trinisphere, and Static Orb on Turns 1–2, heavily accelerated by fast mana like Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, and Sol Ring. Once opponents are constrained to casting single, taxed spells or starved of untapping mana, the deck leverages potent card engines like The One Ring and Rhystic Study to assemble its two-card win condition: Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista. Giving Ballista lifelink enables an immediate unbounded damage loop that eliminates all three opponents in a single turn without passing priority. Backed by Grand Abolisher, Teferi, Time Raveler, and free countermagic, the deck reliably shields its win attempt while maintaining decisive control over the table.
