Fire Nations Best by NewmanMTG33

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis "attack-trigger spellslinger" deck built to get Fire Lord Azula into combat. Once she attacks, her firebending mana pays for a same-turn chain of instants/sorceries, and each spell cast while she is attacking gets a free copy. The deck layers storm and magecraft amplification through Thousand-Year Storm, Veyran, Voice of Duality, Harmonic Prodigy, Archmage Emeritus, and Storm-Kiln Artist, turning copied spells into cards, Treasures, creature tokens, and table-wide burn from Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription. It can finish with a huge Epic Experiment or Electrodominance storm turn, or with an infinite Peregrine Drake + Ghostly Flicker flicker loop into an X-spell. It is a mid-speed value/combo deck with a dense instant-speed interaction suite, but almost no tutor access, so games are won by chaining copied spells over one or two big combat turns.
