Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck that turns enter-the-battlefield Treasure triggers into a board-wide +N/+0 pump for other Dwarves. The primary plan is to flood the board with Dwarves and artifact tokens, then close with commander damage via cheap or free equipment, double-strike effects, and Akroma's Will. Secondary paths include a wide token swing from An Unexpected Party and Idol of Oblivion's 10/10 token. The commander is both a Treasure engine and the most explosive voltron payoff, but not an engine-Magda, Kili, and Bruenor can function without him. Mana acceleration comes from Signets, Talismans, Ornithopter of Paradise, and quickly snowballing Treasure tokens.
