Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai go-wide combat deck led by Éowyn, Shieldmaiden. The core strategy curves out cheap Human creatures during early turns to establish an aggressive board presence. Once the commander enters on Turn 5, entering combat with a newly deployed Human creates two 2/2 Human Knight tokens with trample and haste while drawing an extra card each turn if you maintain six Humans. Combat-enhancing payoffs such as Erkenbrand, Lord of Westfold, Théoden, King of Rohan, and Warstorm Surge amplify the token army into lethal combat steps around Turns 6 to 8. The deck protects its board state with Boromir, Warden of the Tower and disrupts opponents using targeted removal like Abrade and Éowyn, Fearless Knight. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to card draw and token redundancy, the strategy remains vulnerable to repeated board sweepers and combat fogs.
