Zurgo, Storm Thunder by ScaryNoites

Format: Commander

Commander: Zurgo Stormrender

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Mardu token-swarm/aristocrats deck helmed by Zurgo Stormrender, built to convert every attack into a flood of Warrior tokens and every token death into cards and life loss. Zurgo's Mobilize trigger creates attacking tokens, and his leaves-the-battlefield trigger draws a card when an attacking token dies - turning the end-step sacrifice into a repeatable command-zone draw engine. The 99 layers six token-doubler effects (Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, Elspeth, Storm Slayer, Exalted Sunborn, Kaya, Geist Hunter) under a dense death-trigger drain package (Zulaport Cutthroat, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Bastion of Remembrance, Mirkwood Bats, Syr Konrad, the Grim) with sacrifice outlets (Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, Goblin Bombardment) for mana and reach. The deck wins through incremental table-wide drain and go-wide combat, with Isshin, Two Heavens as One and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines doubling the engine's triggers.
