Commander: Karona, False God

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color "goad/pillowfort" deck helmed by Karona, False God, built around the classic trick of suiting her up with Vow and Impetus auras so she can never attack you, then letting her 5/5 haste body swing at opponents with her +3/+3 pump. A dense pillowfort suite - Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, Windborn Muse, Sphere of Safety, and Eriette of the Charmed Apple - keeps you untouchable while the table beats itself down. The deck carries two fully independent alternate wins: Maze's End (the list runs nineteen Gates) and Eriette's end-step life drain, which scales with every Aura you control. Goad chaos via Disrupt Decorum, Taunt from the Rampart, and the Impetus cycle redirects aggression, while Assault Suit and the Vow cycle turn Karona into a reusable, un-sacrificable beater that changes hands every upkeep.
