Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Chatterfang is a single-faced commander. The deck uses his replacement effect to multiply every token creation into extra Squirrel tokens, then converts those Squirrels into mana, cards, and life loss. The primary plan is assembling an infinite sacrifice loop - Pitiless Plunderer (or Phyrexian Altar) plus a free sacrifice outlet, with Chatterfang providing the recursive Squirrel, and finishing through Blood Artist/Mirkwood Bats/Nadier's Nightblade. The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl acts as a hidden second commander, giving a second infinite engine with Phyrexian Altar. Secondary paths are wide token combat via Tendershoot Dryad, Parallel Lives, and Squirrel Nest. The deck is fast but fragile, relying on a small number of key nonland permanents.
