Deck overview

This Grixis deck leverages Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge to bypass the massive mana costs of the game's most devastating instants and sorceries. By combining top-deck manipulation tools such as Scroll Rack, Sensei's Divining Top, and Brainstorm with dedicated top-deck tutors like Mystical Tutor and Lim-Dûl's Vault, the deck ensures that Jeleva exiles game-ending spells upon entry. On Turn 5, Jeleva attacks to cast spells like Expropriate, Breach the Multiverse, or Temporal Manipulation for free. The deck can also execute an infinite extra-turn loop by imprinting Time Warp onto Panoptic Mirror. A robust defensive shell featuring free interaction such as Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick, alongside Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun granting split second to all spells, protects key setup windows. Fast mana rocks and red/black rituals provide explosive acceleration, ensuring the deck recovers quickly even if its commander is answered.
