Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Spirit typal and token midrange strategy led by King of the Oathbreakers. The game plan revolves around generating flying Spirit tokens, buffing them with global anthems like Cathars' Crusade and Intangible Virtue, and leveraging token doublers such as Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Anointed Procession. The commander provides built-in protection by causing Spirits to phase out whenever they are targeted by spells, returning on the next turn to generate additional Spirit tokens. The deck features solid single-target removal, board wipes, and defensive tools like Selfless Spirit and Teferi's Protection to maintain board parity while chipping in for evasive combat damage.
