Deck overview

This deck is a Temur token swarm and forced-draw engine commanded by Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The primary game plan accelerates mana in the early turns to deploy Xyris on Turn 4, then weaponizes symmetric card draw through combat damage or wheel effects like Winds of Change and Teferi's Puzzle Box on Turn 5. Each opposing draw produces 1/1 Snake tokens, rapidly creating a massive board presence. On Turn 6, the deck closes the game by turning this token army into lethal combat damage using Shared Animosity, Combine Chrysalis, or Roar of Resistance, or by funneling creature mana into a game-ending Crackle with Power. The list is reinforced by premier free countermagic and broad defensive spells that protect Xyris and the token swarm from opposing sweepers.
