Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul Stompy list that utilizes Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers as a rapid threat engine. The game plan focuses on deploying early ramp and high-yield rituals to cast the 7-mana commander on Turn 4. Because the commander possesses trample and haste, it attacks immediately upon entering the battlefield, triggering its ability to cheat massive creature payoffs—such as Blightsteel Colossus, Terror of Mount Velus, and Old Gnawbone—directly into combat. The deck then leverages extra combat spells like Relentless Assault and Full Throttle, or an infinite combat loop between Aggravated Assault and Old Gnawbone, to eliminate the table by Turn 5. Highly efficient, low-mana protection spells like Deflecting Swat, Bolt Bend, and Not of This World safeguard the commander during critical attack windows.
