Deck overview

Hearthhull, the Worldseed is a Jund land-sacrifice combo deck. The commander's 2+ activated mode is the primary face: sacrificing a land draws two cards and grants an extra land drop, while its 8+ combat/drain face is a backup finisher. The hidden commander is The Gitrog Monster; the deck is built around Gitrog plus Dakmor Salvage to dredge the library, then Splendid Reclamation or Aftermath Analyst to replay a huge land count. Landfall payoffs such as Valakut Exploration, Field of the Dead, and Scute Swarm convert those lands into lethal burn or tokens. Heavy recursion and tutors let the deck reassemble quickly after disruption.
