Deck overview

This Jeskai Superfriends deck harnesses Commodore Guff to establish a resilient, planeswalker-heavy control engine. The strategy focuses on early acceleration using cheap mana rocks and Guff's Wizard tokens to deploy high-impact planeswalkers ahead of curve. The deck controls the battlefield through asymmetrical board wipes like Urza's Ruinous Blast, defensive deterrents such as Silent Arbiter and Authority of the Consuls, and card-denial stax via Narset, Parter of Veils. Once a critical mass of planeswalkers is established, the deck pivots into win conditions using Sarkhan the Masterless to animate planeswalkers into an evasive Dragon armada or compounding group burn from Chandra, Legacy of Fire and Guff's −3 ability. While vulnerable to aggressive go-wide swarms and nonland mass removal, its redundant walker suite, sweeper density, and resource parity breaks like Armageddon make it a grindy, formidable midrange threat.
