Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Stax and Flying Aggro deck commanded by Errant and Giada. The game plan focuses on establishing early mana development and deploying asymmetric taxation pieces such as Drannith Magistrate, Rule of Law, and Magus of the Moat to throttle opposing spellcasting and ground combat. While opponents struggle under heavy resource restrictions, the commander provides card advantage by allowing the player to cast flying and flash spells directly from the top of the library. The deck protects its board state with an elite suite of free and efficient counterspells, including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Mana Drain. Victory is achieved by steadily chipping down opposing life totals in the air with evasive creatures buffed by Kangee, Sky Warden and Favorable Winds, or by assembling a complete spell lockout with Knowledge Pool alongside a Rule of Law effect.
