Deck overview

The Mouth of Sauron leads a Dimir blink and self-mill strategy that converts graveyard velocity into an overwhelming board presence. Early turns focus on filling graveyards with instants and sorceries using cards like Stitcher's Supplier, Hedron Crab, and Otherworldly Gaze. Casting the commander on Turn 5 deploys a massive Orc Army token, which grows exponentially whenever the commander is blinked with Ghostly Flicker, Displace, or Conjurer's Closet. The deck closes games either by granting the Army unblockable evasion through Aqueous Form, Whispersilk Cloak, and Traitor's Clutch, or by assembling an infinite mana and flicker loop with Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake to mill all opponents out in a single turn. Defensively, cheap blink spells double as protection against removal, while efficient counterspells and Dimir sweepers keep fast opponents in check.
