Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon tribal stompy strategy helmed by The Ur-Dragon. From the start of the game, the commander's eminence ability reduces the generic mana cost of all Dragon spells by one. The deck uses efficient green ramp, mana rocks, and cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and Herald's Horn to accelerate into massive flying threats ahead of curve. By Turn 4, it establishes synergistic value engines such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm or Rivaz of the Claw. On Turn 5, it transitions into lethal board pressure with game-ending threats like Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, and Terror of the Peaks, or cheats the commander into play using Hellkite Courser. It finishes games on Turn 6 through overwhelming airborne combat damage and direct burn triggers, while using Crux of Fate, Dragonlord Dromoka, and Boros Charm to maintain board dominance and shield its threats.
