Deck overview

This deck is a classic Orzhov Aristocrats strategy led by Teysa Karlov. The game plan revolves around generating small creature tokens, feeding them to repeatable sacrifice outlets, and draining the entire table using death triggers doubled by Teysa. The deck establishes its foundation on Turns 1 through 3 with low-cost token creators like Bitterblossom and sacrifice outlets such as Viscera Seer or Warren Soultrader. Once Teysa enters on Turn 4, death payoffs like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats deal immense damage to all opponents simultaneously. The deck controls the board with asymmetric attrition cards like Grave Pact and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, effectively wiping opposing creatures whenever friendly tokens die. Graveyard recursion and redundant token doublers ensure the engine stays operational even through removal, closing games reliably by Turn 7.
