Deck overview

This Selesnya midrange deck harnesses Trostani, Selesnya's Voice to blend substantial life gain with a resilient token-duplication engine. Early turns establish a reliable mana base using low-cost dorks, land-fetch sorceries, and signets, smoothing the path to deploy Trostani alongside steady token generators like Felidar Retreat and Court of Grace. In the mid-game, the deck pivots toward explosive high-toughness or wide token boards using Phyrexian Processor, Avenger of Zendikar, and Rampaging Baloths, offsetting aggressive life investments with Trostani's enter triggers. The primary path to victory involves overwhelming combat steps fueled by trample and stat multipliers such as Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Return of the Wildspeaker. Robust protection spells like Clever Concealment safeguard the assembled army against sweepers, allowing the deck to outlast opposing attrition and close the table across two clean combat rotations.
