Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya lifegain and +1/+1 counters midrange powerhouse led by Aerith, Last Ancient. The strategy revolves around converting consistent lifegain triggers into permanent board advantage and creature recursion. Early turns focus on establishing mana ramp and low-cost lifegain engines like Essence Warden and Soul's Attendant. Once Aerith, Last Ancient enters the battlefield, any lifegain trigger returns key creatures from the graveyard to hand, while gaining seven or more life reanimates them directly to play. The mid-game leverages scaling threats like Archangel of Thune, Ouroboroid, and The Great Henge to build an overwhelming, wide board state. The deck protects its assets with top-tier defensive spells such as Clever Concealment, Heroic Intervention, and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar. Finally, the deck closes out games on Turn 6 or 7 through decisive overrun finishers including Craterhoof Behemoth, Akroma's Will, and Last March of the Ents.
