Deck overview

This deck is an explosive mono-green cheat-and-stomp strategy centered on Kona, Rescue Beastie. The primary objective is deploying Kona ahead of curve on Turn 3 using dense one- and two-mana ramp, tapping Kona via non-combat enablers like Springleaf Drum, Smuggler's Copter, and Holdout Settlement, and using its survival ability to put colossal permanents directly onto the battlefield during the second main phase of Turn 4. The payoff suite features format-warping behemoths including Blightsteel Colossus, Void Winnower, Galactus, Devourer of Worlds, and Worldspine Wurm, backed by massive refill engines such as The Ten Rings and Greater Good. The deck scales into a lethal table finish on Turn 6 by doubling creature power with Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Unnatural Growth, or Overwhelming Stampede. While vulnerable to well-timed commander removal before survival triggers resolve, the deck packs redundant cheat outlets, burst mana, and protective instants to maintain pressure.
