Teysa Karlov - The House Always Collects (HP) by AigleFess

Format: Commander

Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

An Orzhov aristocrats combo deck helmed by Teysa Karlov, whose death-trigger doubling converts every sacrifice into explosive value. The primary plan is to assemble a sacrifice loop - Gravecrawler plus Warren Soultrader or Phyrexian Altar with a drain outlet like Blood Artist - to drain the whole table in one turn. Backup lines include the Reveillark/Karmic Guide recursion loop and Nim Deathmantle + altar + Pitiless Plunderer combos. Teysa also supercharges the midgame: doubled triggers on Dark Prophecy, Skullclamp, and drain effects spiral into card advantage and life loss. With 7 tutors for guaranteed assembly and a deep recursion suite (Living Death, Yawgmoth's Will, Agadeem's Awakening), the deck wins through both speed and inevitability, rebuilding through wipes while the drain engines grind the table down.
