Smaug by Korkie

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure/artifact-matters deck built around Smaug the Impenetrable, an indestructible, hasty 8/7 that turns noncombat damage into Treasures. The primary plan is to point your own damage spells at Smaug-especially Blasphemous Act-to create a huge burst of Treasures, then use that artifact mana to fuel extra combat loops, dragon swings, and sacrifice drains. Secondary paths include upkeep-count wins in Revel in Riches, Hellkite Tyrant, and Knuckles the Echidna, plus a dragon-damage package with Fiery Emancipation, City on Fire, and Mjolnir. Smaug the Magnificent acts as a second Smaug payoff, while Ancient Copper Dragon and The Reaver Cleaver make Aggravated Assault a deterministic infinite-combat finish.
