Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy combat and upkeep control engine commanded by Obeka, Splitter of Seconds. The primary game plan centers on ramping into Obeka, granting her evasion or power boosts, and connecting in combat to grant multiple additional upkeep steps within the postcombat main phase. These extra upkeeps compound the output of normally slow, high-yield permanents into game-ending velocity. Payoffs such as Court of Ambition, Twilight Prophet, and Bonehoard Dracosaur strip opposing hands, drain life totals, and generate massive card advantage in rapid bursts. Non-legendary clone effects like Spark Double and Irenicus's Vile Duplication further multiply Obeka's triggers, while extra combat spells like Port Razer and Karlach, Fury of Avernus chain additional attack steps and upkeeps. Supported by efficient Grixis interaction, targeted protection equipment, and pillowfort restrictions like Silent Arbiter, the deck systematically restricts opposing resources while rapidly closing life totals.
