Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an aggressive Mardu tribal engine built to leverage free 1/1 Vampire tokens generated by Eminence from the command zone. By deploying a low-curve suite of aggressive creatures on early turns, the deck rapidly establishes a wide board presence. It quickly transitions into a lethal threat using scaling power multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Cordial Vampire, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz, while draining opponents through aristocrat staples like Blood Artist and Cruel Celebrant. The deck also includes the infinite life-drain combo of Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Bloodthirsty Conqueror as an alternate path to victory. Flexible spot removal and sweepers handle opposing threats, though the deck must be mindful of opposing board wipes due to light protective coverage.
